I first heard about Stroller Strides through a podcast when we were stationed in California, I never had time to actually find out more information or take any classes I just thought it sounded pretty cool. When we got stationed in Alaska, my husband and I considered actually purchasing a franchise and starting one out there. The timing was off I then became pregnant with my second child and the idea fell through the cracks. When I knew that we are transferring to Virginia, I knew that I wanted to find a Stroller Strides. The nearest franchise to us was Fredericksburg and its been the best decision I could have ever made for myself, my toddlers and family. Alison and Teresa are amazing they know how to make you dig deeper and push your self harder. You get exactly what you you want out of each class. If you give it your all you'll leave hurting so good ;) if you need to take it down a notch for a session no one is there to judge you. I've truly made some amazing friendships, I'm more fit than I've ever been in the 7 years, lost all my pregnancy weight, now working on the marriage weight lol. These ladies have also inspired me to enter my first 5k obstacle course, PS I have alway hated running, but I'm excited. The Fredericksburg Stroller Strides/Fit4Mom group is no longer an exercise group to me, from day one we all became friends, family and sisters. What other groups can you join where you bring your toddlers with you, interact with them and show them what real fitness is? It's priceless really. The day I leave stroller strides will be the day we get transferred to another state, and by then I'll probably be researching buying my own.
